Summer Badminton League 2012

As in previous years we are running a Summer League to add a bit of spice to the summer season.  The aim is to run two leagues of five or six teams (2 ladies + 2 men per team).

 The Summer League will be informal with no player registration.  It is now anticipated that the League will commence no earlier than in the week beginning 30-04-2012. 

Note that existing HDBL Clubs are already insured for public liability via the HDBL but new Clubs may have to provide their own insurance or contribute to the HDBL.

• KAL Games 2012
  As part of their celebration of this year’s Olympic Games, Kirklees Active Leisure will be holding a series of sports tournaments - “The KAL Games”

• ”No Strings Badminton”
  "No-Strings Badminton" drop-in sessions at Huddersfield Sports Centre on Wednesdays ( 5:30pm - 6:30pm ) Dewsbury Sports Centre ( Sundays 10:30am-11:30am ) and Batley Sports & Tennis Centre on Mondays ( 6:30pm - 7:30pm ). Just turn up, playing partner guaranteed every session.
